Текст сообщения: The Sony 40EX520 TV would sometimes turn on and after a few minutes (variable) it would go into a blinking mode (6 blinks). Upon inspection, it was discovered that there was dead tin on the base of the inverter transformer, part number T6701, and the problem was resolved by recharging the solder on all the inverter bases. As can be seen from the photo on the board, the board has changed color at the base of the transformer, indicating an ohmic connection of the base and overheating.
